Story of Salvation

Introduction

Dear friend, The Lord Jesus Christ paid your sin debt on the cross of Calvary nearly two thousand years ago. We hope that after reading these verses from God’s word, you realize that you are a sinner on your way to hell and are in need of God’s grace found in the person of Jesus Christ who took your place and paid for your sins when he shed His blood on Calvary. God has done His part and now it is up to you. Won’t you believe and receive Him as your personal Saviour today.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: ll Cor. 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

ll Cor. 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Rom.10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins Rev. 20:15 and whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

John14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

You are a Sinner

Rom. 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. Rom. 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Eccl. 7:20aFor there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. Isa. 53:6a All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; Isa. 64:6a But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; Rom. 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; l John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

You are Going to Die

Heb. 9:27a And as it is appointed unto men once to die, Eccl. 8:8 There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; James 4:14 whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. Prv. 27:1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. l Sam. 20:3b but truly as the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, there is but a step between me and death.

l Cor.15:22a For as in Adam all die.

You will Face Judgment

Heb. 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Acts 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. Rom. 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. Rom. 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Eccl. 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be Isa. 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. l Pet. 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: ll Cor. 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Rom. 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Rom. 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Acts 16:30 Sirs, what must I do to be saved? Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Rom. 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Rom. 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. good, or whether it be evil. Rev. 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Rev. 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

You Need a Saviour

l Cor.15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; l Cor. 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Isa. 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
